EMERGENCY DENTAL CARE IN MAXILLA DENTAL CLINICS
First-aid dental appointments take place during the clinic’s opening hours, subject to available appointment times.
A specific appointment time is reserved for the patient for a first aid appointment, but it may happen that you have to wait a bit when you arrive at the clinic. It is also not possible to foresee the nature of the need for treatment, the complexity, and the time spent for treatment when providing first aid. We ask for your understanding!
To book an emergency dental care visit, please call the reception of the respective clinic, for that check the opening hours and locations of Maxilla dental clinics.
What to expect at a first aid dentist appointment?
Emergency appointment times for dental treatment are given between the usual booked times, so it should be taken into account that the waiting time may be longer than usual. In the event of an emergency visit, the dentist identifies the reason for the visit and eliminates the immediate concern.
For example, if a patient comes to the dentist with pain, the doctor first makes it clear where it comes from and why it occurred. First aid is then administered to relieve the pain. Next, a new visit time will be arranged or a specialist will be referred.
In Maxilla clinics, first aid is also provided with the benefit of the Health Insurance Fund
All adults have the right to receive free first aid, or emergency dental care, regardless of whether they have health insurance or not. Free emergency dental care is provided if postponing or not providing help may result in death or permanent damage to the person in need.
Emergency care is provided under an extraordinary setting in the case of medical conditions that require extraction of a tooth or opening of an abscess. The dentist decides whether it is a condition that requires emergency dental treatment.
